I finally left the office around eight o’ clock, which meant I wouldn’t be home until nine. It was Friday night and I hoped Brandon and Kelsey would already be out partying somewhere by the time I got home.

From her smart outfit, I guessed she must work in an office downtown and had worked late, just like me. But as she caught my eye, I quickly looked down at my cellphone, hoping to god she hadn’t caught me checking her out.

Just then it buzzed in my hand and another reminder flashed up on the screen: Am I dreaming?

This time I didn’t even need to check. Because if it had been a dream, I definitely would’ve made a move on that sexy chick ...
